Although Green Malay and Green Maeng Da produce the same combination of effects, they tend to vary with regards to potency.

I’m going to compare every one of their effects and rate them in terms of potency, with 5 being extremely potent and 1 extremely weak. Then, I’ll proceed to name the wide variety of medicinal conditions which cab be treated with both strains.

Both strains have the equal ability to produce relaxation. Please don’t confuse this with sedation. Green Malay and Green Maeng Da do not put you to sleep.

The relaxation is both mental and physical, similar to the feeling you get after meditating or realizing a horrible situation has finally come to an end. Negative thoughts literally dissipate while your muscles relax, allowing you to enjoy the present moment.

If you want to skip a meal a day, definitely try one of these strains. Also, eating less food means spending less on groceries! You can lose weight and save money at the same time.

Green Malay vs Green Maeng Da Side Effects

If dosed incorrectly, Green Malay and Green Maeng Da can produce negative side effects. The most common includes a nauseating headache, and in more rare cases, can be coupled with vomiting.

The headache and vomiting are non-fatal, and tend to disappear on their own within a couple of hours. Eat solid food and lay down to ease the headache’s intensity, but wait until the vomiting has gone away before doing so.

People who abuse kratom, new kratom users, and those who accidentally over consume it are much more likely to experience side effects. Highly potent strains also increase the likelihood of experiencing side effects.

However, there is no need to worry. As you can see from this CDC report, very few deaths in the US are kratom related. As long as you dose correctly, you’ll be alright.
