3 Best Delta 9 Vape Products

Marijuana-derived THC may still be banned at the federal level, but hemp-derived delta-9 is legal! For those who do not have access to pot, the emergence of delta-9 vape products and similar goods has been a welcome development.

Delta-9 is the real deal, boasting punchy psychoactive and euphoric effects. But you are probably curious as to why it’s legal and what products you can buy. In this guide, I will go over everything you need to know about delta-9 and vaping.

And there is no better place to start than with my top three delta-9 vape products.

1. CBDfx – Delta-9 THC Vape Pen + CBN (Purple Punch – Indica)

Delta-9 THC Vape Pen

CBDfx combines intoxicating delta-9 with soothing CBN extract and indica terpenes in this relaxing Purple Punch vape pen. CBN has a more sedating effect than CBD, making it a perfect evening vape juice, while the delta-9 brings a euphoric twist to the experience.

But CBDfx still packs in 500mg of full-spectrum CBD into this pen, with the array of minor cannabinoids promoting the entourage effect. The CBD pairs with 30mg CBN and 5mg delta-9 – a significant amount but small enough to ensure Farm Bill compliance.

The Purple Punch disposable pen has a ceramic coil and a 2ml capacity that delivers up to 800 puffs. The device has a micro-USB recharging feature, although users don’t always need it. This product is third-party tested for safety, potency, and legality by SC Labs.

2. Tre House – Delta 8 Vape Pen + D9 + D10 + THC-O (Lemon Jack – Sativa)

Delta-9 THC Vape Pen

Tre House has brought together the best psychoactive hemp cannabinoids, including delta-9, in this zingy Lemon Jack sativa vape pen. A whopping 1250mg delta-8 blends with 500mg delta-10, 60mg THC-O, and a meaningful 5mg delta-9.

The sativa terpenes make for an invigorating yet relaxing high tinged with euphoria. The delta-8 contributes to these effects, while the super-strength THC-O extract generates an almost psychedelic high. And it’s all packed into a sleek 2-gram disposable pen.

Tre House’s vape pen emits approximately 800 puffs. Recharge the device via the micro-USB port to maintain an optimum vaping experience. This pen will get you high, it will give you the munchies, and it’s third-party tested by Marin Analytics.

3. CBDfx – CBD + Delta-9 THC Vape Pen (Pineapple Express – Hybrid)

Delta-9 THC Vape Pen

All aboard the Pineapple Express! CBDfx blends 500mg full-spectrum CBD with 5mg hemp-derived delta-9 and delicious, fruity terpenes in this well-balanced hybrid vape pen. It’s a mighty disposable with a 2-gram capacity, and it even has a recharging feature.

The mixture of soothing CBD and intoxicating delta-9 produces an enjoyable calming effect with a slight euphoric buzz. There’s not enough delta-9 for a full-blown psychoactive trip, but you will be in a jovial mood after a few puffs of Pineapple Express.

CBDfx uses a premium ceramic coil in its disposables for maximum vapor purity. Expect roughly 800 puffs from this breath-activated device, which comes fitted with a protective covering. Third-party tested by Marin Analytics for Farm Bill compliance.

What are Delta 9 Vape Products?

Delta 9 vape products are legal, hemp-based e-liquids with substantial – yet legal! – amounts of delta-9 (THC). These typically take the form of a disposable vape pen, but manufacturers could theoretically create delta-9 cartridges and bottled e-liquids, too.

Standard marijuana products are only available in a handful of states, with the federal government not yet budging on its strict prohibition position. However, the 2018 Farm Bill has left the door ajar for companies to incorporate delta-9 into hemp-based products.

In a chemical and literal sense, delta-9 is THC. Both terms describe delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the cannabinoid responsible for marijuana’s intoxicating effects. Delta-9 is an agonist of the CB1 receptor in the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

The emergence of delta-9 vape products means all Americans can now legally sample the famous substance. In hemp-based e-liquids, delta-9 makes up a very small percentage of the overall product, playing a supporting rather than starring role.

Some delta-9 vape juices contain large quantities of full-spectrum CBD extract. Others mix delta-9 with other legal psychoactive cannabinoids, including delta-8, delta-10, and the mega-potent THC-O.

I have also seen delta-9 combined with non-intoxicating minor cannabinoids. For example, CBDfx’s Purple Punch Vape Pen matches delta-9 up with sedating cannabinol (CBN). Expect to see more therapeutic solutions involving delta-9 soon.

Introducing vape products

An umbrella term, disposable pens, 510-threaded cartridges, and bottled e-liquids all meet the description of a vape product. Each type comes with unique qualities and appeals to different user preferences. Let’s learn more about them.

Disposables: These vape products prioritize convenience, discretion, and portability. Disposables are one-piece devices which emit vapor with a minimum of fuss. They come with a pre-installed battery, so recharging isn’t necessary, although large disposables have a charging port.

Highly potent and often made with terpenes, disposables are the costliest vape products available. But you may view the steeper price tag as an acceptable trade-off for all the perks.

Cartridges: Like disposable pens, prefilled cartridges contain high-strength vape juice that is rich in cannabinoids and terpenes. However, carts do not have a built-in battery. You will need a compatible battery to use cartridges – generally a 510-threaded one.

Cartridges offer plenty of discretion, although they are slightly less convenient and portable since you must have a working vape battery on-hand. Carts are cheaper than disposables but somewhat pricier than standalone e-liquids.

E-liquids: Buying vape juice in a bottle saves money and gives you a chance to get creative. You can experiment with different vape juice blends, which isn’t possible with a pre-filled and sealed cartridge or disposable.

But e-liquids require maintenance and come with start-up costs. You can only vape them with a compatible device (i.e., a tank vape or a refillable pen) and you must change the coil regularly to keep receiving pure, clean vapor.

Delta 9 and the Farm Bill

The 2018 Agriculture Improvement Act (Farm Bill) made the hemp plant and its cannabinoids legal, delta-9 included. But hemp products must have less than 0.3% THC.

The low delta-9 threshold prevents manufacturers from creating out-and-out cannabis products. However, it hasn’t stopped the development of psychoactive hemp products – as we have seen with delta-9-infused vape juices.

Benefits of Delta 9 Vape Products

Vaping products deliver delta-9’s benefits into your system more swiftly than other product types, especially capsules and edibles. Indeed, only smoking can initiate as rapid a delta-9 experience as vaping. But smoking poses significant health risks.

Hemp-based delta-9 vape products can only have a small concentration of the cannabinoid, so expect mild psychoactive effects. The CBD and other cannabinoids present in delta-9 vape juice promote calm and relaxation.

If you haven’t vaped cannabis before, even 0.3% delta-9 may be enough to give you a euphoric mood boost. The lopsided CBD to delta-9 ratio should stop any anxiety and paranoia that can occur after using delta-9.

Maximizing delta-9 levels in hemp-based products helps tease out the entourage effect. In essence, delta-9, CBD, and minor cannabinoids are greater than the sum of their parts when consumed as one.

The entourage effect aids with endocannabinoid system (ECS) regulation, amplifying the benefits of cannabinoids. As part of a full-spectrum blend, delta-9 may produce a more intense pain-killing and anti-inflammatory effect.

Delta-9 vape products could help with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, and arthritis. The fast-acting effects of cartridges and disposables make them more useful than edibles in dealing with conditions where symptoms can flare up at any time.

Will I Fail a Drug Test with Delta 9 Vape Products?

You could fail a drug test after using federally legal, hemp-derived delta-9 vape products. I cannot say you will test positive, as there are several factors at play. But urine, hair follicle, and mouth swab tests can detect delta-9.

As we have covered, delta-9 is THC, hence why it causes problems. The marijuana strip on drug tests detects delta-9 and analogs such as delta-8 and delta-10. Keep your eyes peeled, as many delta-9 products also contain these other substances.

Whether you will fail depends on how much delta-9 you vape and how often, when you last vaped, and the test’s sensitivity. Make a clean urine test more likely by drinking water to dilute the delta-9. Synthetic urine and detox drinks can also help you register a negative test when the chips are down.

Will the Government Ban Delta 9 Vape Products?

The federal government, and more precisely the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), might find it hard to ban delta-9 vape products. After all, the Farm Bill explicitly states that hemp products can have as much as 0.3% delta-9!

That delta-9 is THC may work in its favor from a legal perspective. While the DEA could rule against delta-8, HHC, and THC-O products, going after delta-9 would risk torpedoing the hemp market.

The 0.3% delta-9 cap is there so companies can sell whole-plant hemp products – these are more effective than CBD-isolate products. I cannot see how the DEA could ban delta-9 legal highs without affecting the therapeutic full-spectrum CBD market.

That considered, I predict delta-9 vape products will stay legal. And I anticipate these products remaining in high demand until the federal government legalizes marijuana.

What to Look for When Buying Delta 9 Vape Products

Shopping for delta-9 vape products should be easy, but it can be complicated and confusing if you don’t know the industry. Many people cannot tell what makes a high-quality brand or what type of vape product will deliver the best experience for them. Let me help.

Third-party lab tests

Steer clear of fakes and dangerous vaping products by purchasing from brands with a third-party certificate. Independent lab testing has become a mainstay in the hemp industry, compensating for the lack of FDA oversight that most markets have.

Third-party testing is a clever mechanism that encourages compliance. Companies don’t have to get an independent lab to check their products have legal delta-9 levels and do not contain impurities. But brands that do are more legit than those that don’t.

Delta 9 concentration

Due to the 0.3% cap, manufacturers cannot infuse vape products with copious amounts of delta-9. But you should check the delta-9 concentration of a product to ensure that they are using as much delta-9 as they are legally allowed to.

The terpene profile of a delta-9 vape product affects whether you will feel energized and motivated or relaxed and sleepy. Sativa strains do the former while indica strains do the latter. You can also buy hybrid products that provide a mixture of effects.

Carrier oils

Delta-9 cartridges and disposables should not have a carrier oil. These are unnecessary in highly-concentrated vape products and diluting the vape juice makes it weaker and less effective.

E-liquid in standalone bottles will have a carrier oil. Look for products that contain vegetable glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), or a combination. Never purchase vaping products made with vitamin E acetate.

How to Store Your Delta 9 Vape Products

Keep your delta-9 vape products in a dry, dark, and cool environment. Do not expose your carts, disposables, and e-liquids to direct sunlight. I recommend leaving products in the packaging until you need them to ensure they stay fresh.

How Long do Delta 9 Vape Products Last?

On average, delta-9 vapes produce effects for three hours. Novices may enjoy longer-lasting effects thanks to having more sensitive cannabinoid receptors. Regular users may find the benefits plateau and decline quickly due to blunted receptors.

Purchasing Delta 9 Vape Products Online vs. Shops Near Me

Delta-9 products, including vaping products, are a relatively new addition to the hemp industry. For that reason, you are more likely to find them at specialist online stores than at smoke shops, gas stations, and similar physical stores.

I recommend purchasing delta-9 vape products online – it’s simpler and safer! It’s easier to browse several stores and brands when shopping on the web and you can effortlessly check product credentials and assess whether they meet quality standards.
