The McDonald’s Standards of Business Conduct unsurprisingly points out that drugs and alcohol are a complete no-no in the workplace. However, there is nothing specifically mentioned about drug tests as part of pre-employment background checks, or randomly while in employment.
But given the company’s possible, those under reasonable suspicion of drug and alcohol use are probably liable to get tested.
