Best Buy’s official company policy states that all prospective employees are required to undergo a drug test and report a negative test during the pre-employment phase. Best Buy does mention that those applying for driver positions are subjected to the drug and alcohol tests set by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which is separate from the Best Buy process.
